Japanese bang for your buck place. This has to be value central. The taste is pretty good for the price. Cannot beat the bento boxes where you get a side of miso soup as well. Don’t expect it to be authentic tasting Japanese as it has Chinese influences especially the ramen soup. I would not recommend the ramen but everything else was pretty tasty 😋

The reviews are probably worse than it actually is. The meals seem to lack the right level of flavour that I would expect from a Japanese restaurant. Specifically, I had the chicken katsu Udon and the soup was lacking a bit of flavour but it was definitely still the right dish.

Operating for years. Venue: The shopping mall has plenty of free carpark. Furnished in dark color. Not very packed. --- 6.5/10 Service: Get/read the menu at the entrance. Pick a table. Order and pay at the front desk. Not busy. Served food fast. Chopsticks, spoons, and soy sauce were placed on each table. --- 6.5/10 Food: normal presentation and portion of food. Cheaper than other Japanese restaurants. Only tried Bento box (dine in only). - Teriyaki Chicken, $12: Submerged in plenty of Teriyaki sauce. Chicken meat was ok, but the skin wasn't crispy. --- 6/10 - Grilled Eel, $17.5: in Eel sauce. The texture and taste of Eel was ok for that price. --- 6/10 All bento boxes include 1. Ginger pickles: good portion. 2. Salad: rocket salad and corn kernels with Japanese dressing. Slightly watery. 3.Steamed Rice: poured with some Teriyaki sauce. Obviously, not cooked and stored very well, but the texture was not hard (soggy partially). 4. Sushi: 2 pcs with standard size. One is crab stick & cucumber. Another one is Katsu chicken. Sushi rice was rather mushy. 5. Miso Soup: Free. There are 4 mini tofu cubes and some spring onions. Not bland.
